Dead Letter Bureau

A mystery-by-mail brand and digital case file business built from the ground up — including the website, branding, case files, product system, store flow, and visual identity.

A complete mystery product brand.

Dead Letter Bureau is a fictional investigation brand built around physical mail, printable case files, mystery stories, hidden clues, QR portals, and ecommerce. The goal was to create something that felt like a real archive of strange unsolved files.

Brand System

Logo, tone, colours, typography, archive styling, product language, and visual direction.

Website & Store

Responsive website, case pages, Stripe checkout links, FAQ, product pages, and download flow.

Physical Product Design

Case files, evidence cards, photos, witness statements, labels, mailers, and print-ready assets.

Part website, part story world, part product system.

Dead Letter Bureau was designed to feel more like an artifact than a normal ecommerce site. The experience needed to sell mystery cases while also making visitors feel like they had discovered something hidden, archived, and slightly unsettling.

I built the visual identity, web pages, case structure, product descriptions, download paths, printable assets, and supporting material so both digital and physical versions could be sold.
